Warning...Platinum One Destinations Is Duping You.....press releases

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2008-01-31 01:36 UTC 1  comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Dear oh Dear...

the sky is falling down...all these coastal vacations members are being bullied into joining Platinum One Destinations....by Synergy Marketing Group.....against their will....

The assumption is we have to be warned about the decisions we wish to make, because we know no better.

For example:

"Home Business Coach Jay NaPier Warns Against Platinum One Destinations (P1D)"

http://www.webwire.com/ViewPressRel.asp?aId=58043

and

"Platinum One Destinations (P1D) Launch Causes Confusion" by Dean Marino

http://transworldnews.com/NewsStory.aspx?id=33462&cat=1

If the reader is not savvy, the press releases might look as if they have been written by the press, to indeed warn us about the goings on in P1D.

Utilizing press releases as a method of advertising has been a popular way to advertise by many in Coastal Vacations and looking at the current explosion of new releases it appears that it remains so.

Press releases are not all they appear and I urge you to read my article regarding them:

http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Truth-Behind-Coastal-Vacations-Press-Releases&id=510473

The bottom line is, Platinum One Destinations has brought in $2 Million dollars since launching on January 1st 2008.

Which means....some of this money might have gone towards the purchase of Coastal Vacations packages.

I personally have never been involved in a business so simple to share as P1D and NetTrav.

You will not find Platinum One Destinations members releasing negative press releases about Coastal Vacations. All the so called "warnings" and negativity appears to be all one way?

And why should that be? I think the answer is apparant for all to see.

It is bad practice to burn bridges, you never know when you might want to cross back on one.

The home based business market is HUGE, there is enough for everyone no matter which business they choose to be in.....

In conclusion, the sky is not falling and everyone should do his/her due diligence before joining any home business.

Jay and Dean, if you wish to find out more about P1D I would love to share it with you both, it might just be the perfect adjunct to your coastal businesses....it was to mine.

:-)

Cheers

New communication breakthroughs for your home business

Just when we thought we had all the technical jargon sort of worked out in our brains, up come new terminologies which will become as much of our everyday speech in a few years as cell phones and GHZ is right now.

If you can imagine little chips with antennae being able to transmit information from your pocket to any other wireless bluetooth device all on a tetra hertz frequency, well believe it, the new devices will start appearing in about 2009. A practical application could mean transferring a movie file from say an Apple TV to your favorite mobile device, quickly and securely without any wiring.

It all seems so "Star Treky" but the system works on quantum tunneling. I know what "quantum physics" is and I know what a "tunnel" is, but....to get the real definition and more information on this upcoming technology please go to:

 www.phiar.com

Not that I understand any of it, but it looks incredible and I will want it.

Back to the dark ages....

There is a nifty gadget which will save you $hundreds of dollars on your long distance bills. Anyone in a home business knows, a clear phone signal plus a low bill is a winning combination. For about $40 the first year and $20/yr after that, you can have unlimited long distance calls in the USA and Canada all by plugging in a simple device into your USB port. You will need high speed internet, but other than that, plug in any phone line into the jack and you can be talking without any monthly charges.

For the details please go to

www.magicjack.com

Lower phone costs will mean more money to play with or to put back into your Coastal Vacations or Platinum One Destinations businesses.

Cheers for now

Who could benefit from buying the Level 1 Coastal Vacations Travel Membership?

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-12-31 00:05 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·

The Coastal Vacations basic membership is a combination of transferable hotel stay, cruise and stay and cruise certificates as well as a collection of 20+ discount membership cards plus other non travel related items. The bonus vacation certificates can be purchased as frequently as the member wishes, the discount cards can be renewed at the end of the one year period if the member so wishes.

For the traveler who is able to book in advance, the bonus vacation certificates offer 2 and 3 night hotel stays, condo weeks as well as cruises where the user pays a processing fee plus the appropriate taxes or a flat rate fee. Generally the licensed and bonded travel agents who secure the bookings require between 30 to 60 days notice and in some instances require a choice of 3 dates and in some cases destinations as well. As you can see, the traveler needs to be fairly flexible to be able to use the bonus vacations. On the other saving up to 75% off and in some cases more, on the travel costs is not something that can be dismissed lightly. In most instances the traveler from our experience, does appear to get their first choice of location and times.

The discount cards on the other hand offer instantaneous savings. The savings can be on cruises, condo stays, car rentals and hotels. The beauty of using the cards especially for Condo stays is that you can view the accommodations online and book the condo weeks online using a credit card. It stands to reason that anyone who travels frequently would like to save on their travel costs by utilizing the membership cards.

In conclusion, the Level 1 vacation package is most suitable for those individuals and families who like to travel more than once per year to offset the cost of the membership in the first year. For senior citizens and the self employed who have the luxury of being flexible with their vacation dates. For the business traveler who wishes to save on hotel stays and car rentals and for businesses owner who wish to utilize the transferable nature of the vacation certificates to use as gifts and incentives to build their business.

The package is not suitable for the traveler who is not flexible with times and dates, who only travels first class and is not comfortable with  requesting a discount.

Are You Expecting A Slow Down For Christmas?

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-12-01 22:39 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Typically most business owners assume, not necessarily correctly that their online businesses will slow down over the holidays.

I have been marketing Coastal Vacations online for over 6 years and have yet to have a quiet week inbetween Christmas and the New Year.

I have had as many as 6 sales in that one week period in the past, which is always so suprising with some many parties, activities, sports and even T.V. to watch that someone would want to call me over the holiday with a credit card number.

When you observe the big picture it may not be so surprising.

Here are some reasons why I feel that my Coastal business does not slow down:

  1. The Coastal Vacations package does make a great gift.
  2. When all other marketers are thinking that the holidays are slow, I am still placing ads and am in visible places, so I get the calls.
  3. I answer my phone, try me, call 972-881-4694, really it's me on the other end.
  4. After the month of September, more people join a home based business in January than at any other time.
  5. Making more money is one of the top New Year's resolutions.
  6. The home based business market continues to be one of the strongest and fastest growing businesses.

Yes, there is less internet traffic over any holiday period, however the poeple who are looking are really seriously looking.

If it's anything like last year, I expect I will be wrapping up last minute gifts with one hand and answering the phone with the other....

Hope this helps

Cheers

Is it Too Late To Profit From Coastal Vacations?

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-09-17 22:33 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·

When doing an online search on Google for Coastal Vacations, over 2.7million results are listed.

When doing a search for Coastal Vacations websites there are 2.1 million results. With these high numbers one would expect that the prime time to join a program such as Coastal Vacations in order to profit from direct selling as well as recruitment would be over.

When a new home business program  launches, there is a lack of product recognition. The marketing pioneers have a learning and selling educational curve to contend with.

As time passes, a business name, product or service becomes more recognizable and is thought of less as a start up, but as sales increase the public perception shifts. As the recognition bell curve grows, those looking towards joining the business may feel that  it is too late to join, due to competition.

If you are looking at market saturation and competition, one should look to the large fast food chains that continue to expand despite the large number of them around. There is absolutely no shortage of business owners ready to invest a fortune into  fast food franchises.

The answer to whether it is too late to join Coastal Vacations probably lies somewhere in the middle. Market saturation would appear to eventually happen, yet the majority of people who join a business for one reason or another will never do anything at all with it. So long as 50% of the population is not involved in your business opportunity, the possibility to recruit and to sell your product to make an income exists.

Other factors which influence market saturation is the cost of the item and perceived market value of the item. Due to the different packages offered by Coastal Vacations in reality every household could own one of the packages but the market would not be saturated as there are options to purchase different membership. As the Coastal Vacations packages have also not increased in price in the last 13 years the products have essentially also beaten  inflation, essentially having become less expensive over time.

The Power Of Excuses

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-09-07 17:31 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Excuses will hold you back, stop entrepreneurial growth, lead to procrastination and eventually mediocrity.

If you are being held back by negative thoughts and the looming prospect of failure, you are right, that might just be in your future.

They say you don't have to work hard but to work smart to get ahead. But if you don't even take the first steps, the future will look very much like it does now.

If you want change you must be willing to do something about it. No excuses. The world is your oyster. Nothing comes from nothing. Team up with a buddy or get yourself a coach if you need to be held accountable for your actions.

Say YES today. No more excuses! Coastal Vacations bar none is the easiest home business I have ever had the pleasure to be part of. If making $1,000 at least on every sale does not motivate you, then you need to be a Coastal Platinum director :-)

There are plenty of free marketing tips and great ebooks on my coastal vacations website for anyone to read. You can't change the past but you can take hold of this minute right now and start molding your future for the better.

Hope this helps

Traffic is King.

If you are to generate your own leads, you will need all the exposure you can get.

Free website Traffic is even better.

There are plenty of traffic generators on the market. However a recently launched exit pop up traffic exchange generator is not only getting rave reviews but it has already generated genuine optins to my Coastal vacations site.

If you host your own website I highly recommend taking a look at:

Technology is becoming smarter and more affordable. The beauty of having a home based internet business like Coastal Vacations, is that your home can be anywhere there is a phone or wireless signal.

Here are my 4 must haves to keep your Coastal business running on the road, wherever you may be.

1 Laptop (must have).

2 Wireless phone card. Verizon has a popular wireless card for your lap top for $59/mo for unlimited use.

3 External Hard Drive. Back up your files and keep them in a mobile storage unit in your pocket. How cool is that.

4 Wireless portable printer.

Increase your Power Of Concentration

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-08-24 20:29 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·

We are nearly all guilty of it....wasting time. Personally I engage in too much surfing, and purchasing online when my intention is always to promote my website or do something productive.

The power of concentrating on a task appears to be more and more difficult with all the external stimuli we receive on a never ending basis. Even the gentle humming of my computer distracts me.

However, there is help.

In 1918 a gentleman by the name of Theron Dumont wrote the timeless classic "The Power Of Concentration" which has been attributed to the countless success stories of many worldwide.

I have just started reading this powerful book. Many are selling the copy of the book online, but you can download a copy from my Coastal Vacations business opportunity website at no cost. Just click on the free ebooks tab.

Traditionally more people join a  work at home business venture in September/October than at any other time.

I have also found that January is my 2nd best period for getting new members. Traditionally the summer months are the slowest. Many are on vacation, the weather is nice, the kids are out of school, life is hectic, and once the dust settles in September, reality sets in....yes another year of working for someone else.

If you have not thought about setting up an advertising campaign for your home business, the time is now. If you are not going to attract new members for your coastal group, then someone else is.

NEW Coastal Vacations Ezine Launched

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-07-11 19:34 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Hello

It has taken some time, but I finally made a website specifically for the Coastal Vacations Ezine.

Recently it seems that I am getting more and more people asking me for advertising advice, help with marketing and driving traffic to their coastal vacation websites. I have received requests from members in every coastal group.

Of course I never ever mind helping, but I found that I was spending 4+ hours per day helping members outside of my group. Since developing an ezine for coastal marketing support, I have more free time for my group members, and the subscibers have the added benefit in that they can email me specific questions they need help with.

It does not matter if you are already a coastal vacations director, whether you are with the automated sales center, with the we close your sales call center, the coastal synergy group or any other group, you are welcome to join the ezine.

As the information is almost generic in nature, even if you are not in coastal, the information will still help you.

The subscriber will receive information on how to build a website, build a list and generate traffic to your site through methods you might not have considered using.

The ezine is not for assistance with the coastal vacations packages, coastal hosts plenty of training calls on this subject already .

I have been with coastal vacations since 2001, and being a full time marketer, I have been able to use my talents to help others, which is what I enjoy doing.

You will receive NO Hype but you will receive Information that works and all directors are welcome to join.

Automating Your Coastal Vacations Business at what Cost?

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-07-04 04:00 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Wow, with the development of replicated websites, flash presentations, autoresponders, auto dialed phone messages and animated characters and now even beautiful actors presenting your product it appears that every coastal vacations director is trying to out do the next using crisp new flashy techno gadgets.

One thing that may be missing from the average marketing arsenal, is the human touch. The personalized phone call, the personalized reply to an email message, the personalized card in the mail. We have attempted to be as automated as possible, in the mean time losing touch that when a person purchases  a coastal vacations travel membership or joins coastal for the home business opportunity, they are really buying the person who sold it to them.

Can you do me a favor? can you respond to this and write what made you want to purchase from the director who sold you the coastal vacations membership ... because all the coastal members who are not directors yet and  who are reading this just may want to know.

Thank you

This is so exciting for anyone in Coastal Vacations.

We have managed to secure some amazing cable slots,  30 minutes long, reserved for 4 months at an incredible price point. The infomercial will be shown daily.

We are in the process of scripting and putting together a 10 minute video for the coastal vacations travel as well as home business opportunity, which will be shown 3x in the alloted time frame.

The co-op will be open to all qualified or not yet qualified coastal vacations directors, who are interested in joining us (but my group gets first dibs).

If this infomercial goes well, and I have every faith that it will, there will be nothing to stop us from expanding to other markets.

To receive updates on the progress of the project as well as to be notified once the co-op is open, visit my coastal website and sign up to request more information.

5 Steps To Success In Coastal Vacations

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-04-14 19:27 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Automated systems work well if a product is less than $99. The seller will have better results when the sales page is formulated with a personalized video explaining the product and showing proof of training, or the product or their earnings. But what if you are selling a product that does not cost chump change, like coastal vacations. What are the best action steps to take to build enough trust for a buyer to purchase the product sight unseen?

1. Building A Web Presence:

If it's on the web in a high position it has to be true mentality. It is no longer necessary to have a huge advertising budget to have your business opportunity website ranked high in the search engines. The latest web 2.0 techniques covering the umbrella of social book marking sites, like blogs and video lure search engine spiders like flies to a web. Utilizing a selection of varied marketing methods on a regular basis will attract traffic to your website.

2. Building Relationships: Showing your face, recording your voice and adding testimonials to your site all increase the connection between you and your web visitors. Your new clients should feel as if they know you and can trust you and can contact you at any time without feeling like they are a burden to you.

3. Giving Advice:

Writing articles with useful materials will result in increased free traffic and will establish you as an authority in your niche. Offering free reports, free downloads and adding web content will keep the internet seekers coming back to your site.

4. Adding Bonuses:

Using competitions and time sensitive bonuses will add to the sense of urgency. Seekers will become buyers if they have a reason to purchase today. The one time offer strategy has become a huge success with internet marketers.

5. Care After The Sale:

Once the sale is done, many marketers feel that their job is over, in reality this is the most important aspect to any sale. Taking time to market and establish rapport with a client only to drop them after the purchase will lead to discontented members and complaints. Establishing a regimen of regular contact and training is essential for the success of your business and down-line.

5 Coastal Vacations Business Opportunity Building Tips

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-04-02 02:13 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Coastal Vacations is being recognized as a strong and powerful and rapidly expanding home based business opportunity. The following 5 tips will help shed light on what new clients are looking for when contemplating coastal vacations as a home business.

Simple to follow step by step automated system:
You must have a proven and simple automated system you can promote to your prospects in a step by step fashion. Coastal Vacations as a home business has become very visible online as well as in print over the past few years. Your system will need to stand out from others promoting Coastal Vacations if you are to be remembered.

Giving away the kitchen sink approach:
As you have probably noticed on the internet especially, top marketers are giving away valuable email courses and video courses at no cost. This approach makes the prospect feel more comfortable with the marketer after all they may think ‘If they are giving all this away for free, the real product must be truly exceptional.’  The trust factor is crucial to relationship building for the long term. Unless you are just after a one off sale, building a positive and trusting connection to your prospects will lead to fewer buyers’s remorse and increased future sales. Adding an instructional email course to your autoresponder messages or giving away free marketing tips on your website will dramatically increase the positive perception others will have about you.

Using Your Personality:
Fully automated systems work well for affiliate programs and virtual products. The higher the cost of the product, the more the potential buyer needs to feel comfortable that he/she is making the right decision. Contacting the prospect with a phone call, emailing a personalized video, leaving a message on the recorder places a voice and or face with the buyer. Posture for the sake of it, only works with certain personality types. The majority of people do not wish to be approached with hard selling tactics.

Product Knowledge:
A basic understanding of your product is necessary. However the Coastal Vacations memberships are so vast in scope that I fear most do not know everything about the various packages and their contents. However knowing where to get the answers to questions you may receive is essential. Using your product and being a personal testimonial is the best thing you can do to build trust in your product for yourself and your potential customers.

Adding Bonuses:
We have come to expect to receive bonuses with almost everything we purchase online. Value added bonuses complementing the Coastal Vacations packages will make you stand out from other directors who offer none. Adding websites, leads and proven marketing materials that can translate into faster and easier sales for your new member will add to the value. Bonuses like free e-books that are readily available on the internet detract from the overall bonus concept and may lessen your reputation. Choosing your bonuses wisely is the key.

You can find more advertising tips for promoting your coastal vacations business on: http://www.2ezbiz.org

Top Fear Of People Using The Coastal Call Centers

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-03-24 18:51 UTC 1  comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

With the increasing popularity of high ticket home business opportunities such as coastal vacations home business and the ever increasing strive to have as much automation as possible the introduction of call centers for many an internet business has become the norm rather than the exception.

Due to the nature of business, even though the call centers have the loyal followers the nay sayers have their way of breeding fear into those using the call centers.

The number one fear of the participants is that the call centers are stealing their leads and or sales.

As more and more call centers pop up across the industry  for varied travel related and non travel business opportunities there is a short check list you can perform on the call center you are wishing to join:

1. The telemarketers working on your behalf should NOT be members of your program.

2. The telemarketers should be working from an office and not from their home.

3. The employees have signed a non-compete agreement.

4. You should be able to redirect calls from your toll free number to the call center’s system, capturing all call in numbers.

5. They are able to give you at least 10 testimonials of people making money with them and they have a proven record that they can close sales.

6. The call center should be growing in the number of employees that they have.

7. They should have proven marketing materials that help with promoting coastal vacations.

8. That they are sticking to a code of ethics and are NOT making deals just to sign up numbers.

If you do not have complete confidence in the call center you are looking to join, it is really best to hold off and perhaps find another one that you do have faith in.
