Is a Direct selling home based business the answer?

If you have lived in the USA over the last 1 year, you have more than likely been bombarded with mixed messages from both the Democratic and Republican candidates as to which one would really help your bottom financial line.

Unless things alter drastically, the best way to keep more money in your pocket has always been from owning your own home based business and taking advantage of the many tax deductions available to a business owner.

There are as many home based businesses available on the market today as there are colors in a spectrum but if you have been looking at the 2 major business models, namely direct selling vs. MLM you might be asking, which one is best for you?

Traditionally M.L.M. home based businesses are similar to Direct selling businesses with the exception of the required monthly auto-ship purchases and in some cases balancing your "down-line" to maximize the pay plan.

Due to the multi level payouts in M.L.M. generally the commission earned from an initial sale is lower than in a direct selling home business.

M.L.M. does however provide true residual income where Direct selling businesses do not.

To fill in the void between  M.L.M. and Direct Sales,  new Hybrid Direct selling commission structures has evolved, like Platinum One Destinations, giving the best of both worlds, residual income, high commissions but with no required monthly auto-ship purchases.

In all cases, the home based business opportunities afford the new recruit a way to make an income from home with low start up costs, company training and support with proven website and contact manager systems, without the cost of a traditional business and the need of having employees and a physical brick and mortar business address. Many people voice their need to be part of a team for support, motivation, training  as well as credibility.

Whichever business structure you choose, with over 1.8 U.S. households owning a Home Based Business, working from home is no longer an odd way to make a living, but in many cases a necessity.

Warning...Platinum One Destinations Is Duping You.....press releases

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2008-01-31 01:36 UTC 1  comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Dear oh Dear...

the sky is falling down...all these coastal vacations members are being bullied into joining Platinum One Destinations....by Synergy Marketing Group.....against their will....

The assumption is we have to be warned about the decisions we wish to make, because we know no better.

For example:

"Home Business Coach Jay NaPier Warns Against Platinum One Destinations (P1D)"

http://www.webwire.com/ViewPressRel.asp?aId=58043

and

"Platinum One Destinations (P1D) Launch Causes Confusion" by Dean Marino

http://transworldnews.com/NewsStory.aspx?id=33462&cat=1

If the reader is not savvy, the press releases might look as if they have been written by the press, to indeed warn us about the goings on in P1D.

Utilizing press releases as a method of advertising has been a popular way to advertise by many in Coastal Vacations and looking at the current explosion of new releases it appears that it remains so.

Press releases are not all they appear and I urge you to read my article regarding them:

http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Truth-Behind-Coastal-Vacations-Press-Releases&id=510473

The bottom line is, Platinum One Destinations has brought in $2 Million dollars since launching on January 1st 2008.

Which means....some of this money might have gone towards the purchase of Coastal Vacations packages.

I personally have never been involved in a business so simple to share as P1D and NetTrav.

You will not find Platinum One Destinations members releasing negative press releases about Coastal Vacations. All the so called "warnings" and negativity appears to be all one way?

And why should that be? I think the answer is apparant for all to see.

It is bad practice to burn bridges, you never know when you might want to cross back on one.

The home based business market is HUGE, there is enough for everyone no matter which business they choose to be in.....

In conclusion, the sky is not falling and everyone should do his/her due diligence before joining any home business.

Jay and Dean, if you wish to find out more about P1D I would love to share it with you both, it might just be the perfect adjunct to your coastal businesses....it was to mine.

:-)

Cheers

New communication breakthroughs for your home business

Just when we thought we had all the technical jargon sort of worked out in our brains, up come new terminologies which will become as much of our everyday speech in a few years as cell phones and GHZ is right now.

If you can imagine little chips with antennae being able to transmit information from your pocket to any other wireless bluetooth device all on a tetra hertz frequency, well believe it, the new devices will start appearing in about 2009. A practical application could mean transferring a movie file from say an Apple TV to your favorite mobile device, quickly and securely without any wiring.

It all seems so "Star Treky" but the system works on quantum tunneling. I know what "quantum physics" is and I know what a "tunnel" is, but....to get the real definition and more information on this upcoming technology please go to:

Not that I understand any of it, but it looks incredible and I will want it.

Back to the dark ages....

There is a nifty gadget which will save you $hundreds of dollars on your long distance bills. Anyone in a home business knows, a clear phone signal plus a low bill is a winning combination. For about $40 the first year and $20/yr after that, you can have unlimited long distance calls in the USA and Canada all by plugging in a simple device into your USB port. You will need high speed internet, but other than that, plug in any phone line into the jack and you can be talking without any monthly charges.

For the details please go to

www.magicjack.com

Lower phone costs will mean more money to play with or to put back into your Coastal Vacations or Platinum One Destinations businesses.

Cheers for now

5 Coastal Vacations Business Opportunity Building Tips

edit Maria Porter's P1D and Coastal Vacations Blog 2007-04-02 02:13 UTC add comment  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·

Coastal Vacations is being recognized as a strong and powerful and rapidly expanding home based business opportunity. The following 5 tips will help shed light on what new clients are looking for when contemplating coastal vacations as a home business.

Simple to follow step by step automated system:
You must have a proven and simple automated system you can promote to your prospects in a step by step fashion. Coastal Vacations as a home business has become very visible online as well as in print over the past few years. Your system will need to stand out from others promoting Coastal Vacations if you are to be remembered.

Giving away the kitchen sink approach:
As you have probably noticed on the internet especially, top marketers are giving away valuable email courses and video courses at no cost. This approach makes the prospect feel more comfortable with the marketer after all they may think ‘If they are giving all this away for free, the real product must be truly exceptional.’  The trust factor is crucial to relationship building for the long term. Unless you are just after a one off sale, building a positive and trusting connection to your prospects will lead to fewer buyers’s remorse and increased future sales. Adding an instructional email course to your autoresponder messages or giving away free marketing tips on your website will dramatically increase the positive perception others will have about you.

Using Your Personality:
Fully automated systems work well for affiliate programs and virtual products. The higher the cost of the product, the more the potential buyer needs to feel comfortable that he/she is making the right decision. Contacting the prospect with a phone call, emailing a personalized video, leaving a message on the recorder places a voice and or face with the buyer. Posture for the sake of it, only works with certain personality types. The majority of people do not wish to be approached with hard selling tactics.

Product Knowledge:
A basic understanding of your product is necessary. However the Coastal Vacations memberships are so vast in scope that I fear most do not know everything about the various packages and their contents. However knowing where to get the answers to questions you may receive is essential. Using your product and being a personal testimonial is the best thing you can do to build trust in your product for yourself and your potential customers.

Adding Bonuses:
We have come to expect to receive bonuses with almost everything we purchase online. Value added bonuses complementing the Coastal Vacations packages will make you stand out from other directors who offer none. Adding websites, leads and proven marketing materials that can translate into faster and easier sales for your new member will add to the value. Bonuses like free e-books that are readily available on the internet detract from the overall bonus concept and may lessen your reputation. Choosing your bonuses wisely is the key.
